| Davis is long, lean and chiseled. He has long arms, very good speed and strength and is quick off the ball. He’s impressive against the run and pass. Davis can be a speed rusher off the edge but you better be careful because he can beat you inside as well. He plays under control showing good vision at the line of scrimmage to identify where the ball is. Davis just has good instincts and is well coached. |

As a junior (13-1) Luther finished with 74 tackles, 6 sacks, 10 quarterback hurries and 14 tackles for a loss.
Davis was named to the 1st Team All-State, District, All-N' East LA squads for his play on the field; bench: 325/squat: 505/power clean: 315
Final senior (11-1) stats: 68 tackles/13 sacks/8 forced fumbles/22 tackles of loss/4 fumbled recoveries/5 blocked field goals/2 interceptions.
Davis reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 19 ACT retake.
Davis: “My strength is I’m quick off the ball and my knowledge of the game. I’ve studied the game since I was six and I respect it. I want to work on getting faster. I know a 4.7 is not bad for my size, but speed is such a big factor at the next level. Another thing I want to work on is my maturity…becoming a team leader.”
