| Cutbacks are a necessity for Bond as a running back in high school. Plays very well in space and needs to get the ball in his hands quickly to make big plays. |
| Biography: |
| Last season, Bond played slotback – a hybrid tailback/receiver position in the flexbone offense – for Hertfort County. The position highlighted his ability as a runner and a receiver allowing Bond to rush for 922 yards and 18 touchdowns on 100 rushes, and catch 16 passes for 394 yards and five touchdowns. He also added 6 more touchdowns on special teams. Bond’s statistics helped led Hertford County to a 9-6 record and earned him the All-Conference Player of the Year.
Coach's Comment: “He can do just about anything," said Coach Greg Watford. "He’s very dangerous when he gets the ball in his hands, he catches really well, he’s an excellent return guy, but his open field running ability might be the best that I’ve ever seen. He’s very elusive, and has great change of direction.” |
