Peria helped South Panola to the Class 5A State Championship and a #13 National Ranking as a senior.
For the season, Jerry collected 105 tackles and 3 sacks.
Peria was named Mississippi's Defensive Player of the Year for his play on the field.
Jerry signed with Ole Miss in February '04 and enrolled at Hargrave Military Academy after failing to reach the NCAA minimum standards.
Peria is expected to resign with Ole Miss in February '05 and will enroll at the University of Mississippi in June.
