hip Bremer has been contributing articles on college, professional and high school athletics to various sports-related publications since 1996. In 1997, he began a monthly basketball column entitled "Off the Dribble" for Community Sports News in Durham and has been a regular with the paper ever since. He has also contributed regularly to the Cary News as a freelance sports reporter and has been a guest columnists for several area websites, including ACC Today, the Duke Basketball Report, and Inside Carolina.
His background in marketing communications has landed him jobs with CITE (the Center for Information on Toxicology and Environment) in RTP and, most recently, the North Carolina Division of Tourism, where he serves as Publications Director.
Born in Akron, OH, Chip received a B.A. in Journalism/Public Relations from Rider College (NJ) in 1993. He moved to Raleigh, NC, in the spring of 1994 and currently resides in Apex, NC.
