"According to court records, Singer was stopped by Cary police at about 2:50 a.m. on March 20 on Tryon Road when he drove off from a Kangaroo gas station.

"Singer, who turned 18 on March 23 and lives in Raleigh, submitted to a breathalyzer test that showed he had a blood alcohol content of .07 percent.
