"According to court records, Singer was stopped by Cary police at about 2:50 a.m. on March 20 on Tryon Road when he drove off from a Kangaroo gas station.
"Singer, who turned 18 on March 23 and lives in Raleigh, submitted to a breathalyzer test that showed he had a blood alcohol content of .07 percent. That's below the legal limit of .08, but it's illegal for persons under age 21 to consume alcohol in North Carolina. Singer has a court date of April 20."
