RALEIGH, NC - Bobby Floyd and Julian Williams met with the media on Monday afternoon, discussing the Pack's upcoming game against Gardner-Webb.

Bobby Floyd Audio

“One thing we’ve accomplished is improving from last year and improving from South Carolina to Murray State. A big focus of ours this season has been tackling and pursuit to the ball and looking back at the film we’ve gotten better at that. That’s something we’re trying to get better at it still.”

“I came in just expecting to really work hard and try to contribute anyway I could. My goal when I came here wasn’t just to earn a scholarship, I wanted to play. I grew up dreaming of playing at this level and that’s what I wanted to do. A big milestone for me was getting on the field my first game and making a play on special teams.”

“The biggest thing I’d like to see is winning. Rather than personal milestones I want to win. I want to help this team do something really big this year.”

“I might not be the fastest guy and it might take me a little longer to get there but when I do I’m going to try to punish the ball carrier.”

“This is another week to get better and the way you get better is practicing hard.”

“Well the transition has worked out pretty good. I started two years at left tackle so it’s not like I’m getting my feet wet it’s just turning the page back and getting used to the things I used to do. It’s been a pretty good transition.”

“On Tuesday and Thursday we practiced better and that made us a better team on Saturday. Our execution was a lot better this week.”

“Smart guys play offense and smarter guys play offensive line.”
