Roberts No Longer on Team

NC State head coach Tom O'Brien announced today that sophomore offensive lineman Desmond Roberts is no longer on the team. He will be enrolling in junior college. It was not immediately known if Roberts would eventually be allowed to return to NC State.

Roberts enrolled in 2007 and redshirted. He played in six games in 2008, four from scrimmage and two on special teams only. Roberts was in for a season-high 13 snaps at Maryland.
