POSITION BREAKDOWN (NOTE: The information here is solely the opinion of Pack Pride and should be considered for discussion purposes only.)

    Darryl Cato-Bishop

STRENGTHS: Cato-Bishop has a tremendous frame from which to build, good genes, above-average athleticism, very good feet, and great quickness. Physically, he has all the tools you're looking for.

WEAKNESSES: played against questionable competition in high school and will need time to adjust to the upgrade in talent he will face. Cato-Bishop must continue to work on technique and pass-rushing skills.

    ACADEMICS: Projects as a qualifier

    IMPACT IN 2009? Likely Redshirt

    Sylvester Crawford

STRENGTHS: A long and rangy player, Crawford covers ground quickly with good change of direction, has a nose for making plays in the backfield, pursues to the ball and tackles well.

WEAKNESSES: He will need to fill out his frame and continue to work on fundamentals and pad level. Because of his height, Crawford tends to play high. He must also improve his lower body strength and explosion off the line of scrimmage. He needs to become more consistent as well.

    ACADEMICS: Question Mark

    IMPACT IN 2009? Likely Redshirt

    A.J. Ferguson

STRENGTHS: Ferguson is a hard worker and gives 100% on every play. A good athlete, he pursues well to the ball and is tenacious. High-motor prospect.

WEAKNESSES: Somewhat of a tweener as to whether defensive end or defensive tackle is his best position. He needs to work on quickness and continue to add strength. Fairly raw, he'll need to improve his technique.

    ACADEMICS: Question Mark

    IMPACT IN 2009? Likely Redshirt
