Both players will miss 2009 spring workouts as they undergo
rehabilitation for their injuries.
On Tuesday, junior Darrell Davis had his posterior labral repaired. Davis played in
all 13 games last season, pulling down six passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. His
rehab period should last four to 4-1/2 months.
On Wednesday, junior Donald Bowens, who missed the entire 2008 season with a back
injury, had reconstructive surgery on his knee. Bowens will also miss spring
practice as he faces a rehab period of several months. Bowens was the Wolfpack's
third-leading receiver in 2007 with 41 catches for 598 yards and three TDs.
