RALEIGH, N.C. -- Head coach Sidney Lowe met with reporters following Saturday's win over Georgia Tech.

"I thought that was probably one of our best games in terms of just fighting to the end. We really played hard, guys made plays, I thought we were very aggressive... I thought our defense towards the end really got it for us."

"I thought guys just came in ready to play. We got great play from our bench."

"Injuries have forced us to change the lineup and try to find one that can get us off to a good start."

"I thought Dennis was huge for us."

"We were aggressive... we played strong. We got in there and fought for rebounds. I thought we defended well... we didn't really allow them to get those duck-ins."

"I didn't talk about X's and O's. I just told our guys to go out and be tougher. Period. They did that."

"I think I had to call certain sets, things we were looking for. I wasn't calling plays. I wanted us to go right into the flow and make reads. I called the set where Farnold went in and made the 3-point play but other than that... those guys did it. They did it. I called the plays, but they have to go out there and perform. I give them the credit."

"They made the defensive stops, the rebounds. They showed a lot of character and heart. They didn't give up."

"That's something we're going to look to do. We like to change up the defense. You can't stay with it too long because teams are going to make adjustments but we needed a change... we forced them to try to make a couple of plays and they turned it over."

"When we changed our defense and went into that 3-quarter court zone... we needed to get the momentum back in our favor."

"We needed to make one more run and that's what we did."
