RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State Head Coach Sidney Lowe discusses the Pack's performance against Winthrop. The Wolfpack defeated the Eagles 74-48 in the RBC Center.

"We did a very nice job at working hard. They worked hard and then they concentrated on our gameplan and what we're trying to accomplish."

"I thought our guys were pretty good at being aggressive and really trying to mess up their timing."

"That's what we're trying to do. We're building. We're trying to establish something with our team and we still have a long way to go, but we're certainly working hard and headed in the right direction."

"I'm more pleased with that than just about anything... just taking care of the basketball and giving ourselves an opportunity.

"[Farnold Degand] has actually had a few good days. I think he's had five good days now, good days meaning he hasn't had any pain. We're hoping that when we come back to practice after the holiday he'll be ready to do something."

"It's good for everyone, especially for the players to get away from it, get with family, have dinner, and then we still have enough days to get prepared for that ballgame."

"I think it's a slim chance that Farnold will play [on Sunday]. We're hoping that he can start to do something, but he hasn't been on the floor at all."

"The only thing that I really expect from our players is to play hard... play hard and play smart."

"I think [Ben McCauley] will tell you that he's very focused on what he's doing and that's the only thing on his mind. He's not thinking about anything else than trying to help his team win."
