How are preparations going for this week?
"It's a big week and we're getting excited. North Carolina is a great team. We're practicing hard... 100%."
Does the week feel different to you because it's a rival?
"It's a little different in your preparation. You feel like you're working a little harder a little faster, but at the same time we know they are working hard too. We're excited to play."
After the recent wins, do you think there is a little more spring in the team's step?
"Definitely. We had a couple of big wins lately, and we've just got to keep it going."
You were on the sidelines last year for the Carolina game. What were your impressions of the atmosphere?
"It's a great atmosphere. It's a great rivalry. Everybody is excited... everybody is going full speed."
Did it surprise you?
"It didn't surprise me. I knew coming down here that it's the biggest rivalry. It's one of the biggest rivalries on the east coast for sure."
Thoughts on UNC's pass defense:
"They've got a lot of great speed and a lot of athletic guys. They are coached well and everything, but we're going to go after them and make plays and I'm sure they are going to make some plays as well. They are a great team."
Is the passing game key in this game?
"The passing game and the running game is key in every game. It's no different than any other game. We've just got to play hard and make plays."
