WRAL.com has a special video feature with NC State redshirt freshman safety Jimmaul Simmons following Wednesday's practice.
What does finishing mean to you?
We were kind of disappointed... the defense let up in the fourth quarter and everything. Like coach said, we had to play four quarters to get through that game, which we didn't. We're just trying to put four quarters together now so we can become a better football team. We've got to rally to the ball. We're just looking forward to the next game.
How do you work on that?
It's a little bit of everything. If anything it's more effort. It's about effort... getting to the ball, doing what you're supposed to do. I would say more effort, if anything.
How anxious are you to get back out there on Saturday?
Real anxious. Right now I can say we're hungry. That game opened our eyes to let us know we can go down at anytime, so you've got to play every game like it's your last. We're hungry right now.
This could be a muddy game, are you ready to get out there for that?
We're anxious. Right now we've got to finish practicing, cleaning up some of the errors that we had, but once we get that done we'll be ready.
