Pack to Play Florida, Arizona in Hoops

Posted Mar 26, 2008

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State head men’s basketball coach Sidney Lowe has announced that his Wolfpack squad will play home-and-home contests against the Florida Gators each of the next two seasons.

NC State will travel to Gainesville for a game on January 3, 2009 and will play host to the SEC school in Raleigh on January 3, 2010.

“Even though we play in the toughest RPI conference in the country, our goal is for our non-conference schedule to be challenging as well,” said Lowe. “Facing the team that has won the last two national titles will certainly fulfill that goal.”

The Wolfpack also has upcoming games scheduled against the Arizona Wildcats. The Wolfpack will play in Tucson in 2009-2010 and the Pac-10 school will come to the RBC Center in 2010-2011.
