Sidney Lowe seemed to finally find his basketball team in the strangest of places Thursday night, though N.C. State lost to Duke in a familiar way.
After fighting Duke to a draw in the first minutes of the game, State took control then lost it in the cauldron of Cameron Indoor Greenhouse. A stunning display of shooting swept third-ranked Duke to a 92-72 win in a game that had the look of a national upset before halftime.
