NC State Wolfpack Defeats Villanova & Wins Old Spice Classic
"It will be the rebounding and free-throws that should be the difference in the game, although NC State does have some big bodies down low. Depth will be a problem for the Wolfpack, as they regularly play seven guys on the court while the Spartans frequently sub between 10 guys on the court. As a result, MSU will look to wear down the Wolfpack by running their usual up-tempo style offense because NC State are not a running team."

Consecutive losses by a combined 57 points isn't exactly going to drift away without repercussion.
That's what N.C. State coach Tom O'Brien said after the Wolfpack's 37-0 loss at home to Maryland last Saturday.
Combined with a loss at Wake Forest a week earlier, State was outscored 75-18 in its final two games, ending the season 5-7 (3-5 ACC) after winning four consecutive games to begin the second half of the season.

ACC/Big 10 Challenge takes spotlight

It's something of an early-season tradition by now, the annual clash between the ACC and the Big 10. Always sure to feature some of the top showdowns of November, the ACC/Big 10 Challenge is in its ninth season.
