RALEIGH, N.C. -- Wolfpack head coach Sidney Lowe met with the media following the Red-White Game.

Sidney Lowe Audio

"I thought we did a lot of nice things. I thought we certainly saw some pieces that we certainly need and can use. We saw that we can put a few players on the floor now with our depth."

"I thought Farnold did a real nice job for us at the point guard position... real solid there. J.J. played well, Ben played well, Gavin... Simon Harris. I was pleased... pleased with the effort."

"I've been in that game before so I know what that's like. I expected that. I saw us really execute certain sets really well."

"It's pretty much an even team. What we did was we looked at putting the veteran big men in Ben and Brandon with Farnold, a younger guard. Then we went stronger with the veterans at guard on the White team. It was a nice match."

"I thought [J.J. Hickson] played well. The evidence is there when you watch him play. He plays with great intensity, great passion. He goes hard every single time. He gives you a presence down there defensively... he's going to be there to protect you."

"It's great for us because it's going to make both of those guys better... going at it every single day. They both are very similar in their work ethic because they go hard. It's fun to watch those two go."
