N.C. State will be without Toney Baker's services for the final 11 games. The junior running back suffered a season-ending knee injury Saturday during the Wolfpack's 25-23 season-opening loss to Central Florida. During arthoscopic surgery Sunday, Dr. Michael Fajgenbaum discovered cartilage damage. Baker will undergo reconstructive surgery at a later date. Baker was the team's leading rusher in 2006 and was expected to play a major role this season, sharing carries with Andre Brown and Jamelle Eugene. He should be eligible for a medical redshirt and will return in 2008 with two seasons of eligibility remaining. Read More
