Pack Pride has confirmed that Chantilly (VA) Westfield quarterback Mike Glennon has committed to NC State.
"I committed to NC State about an hour ago," said Glennon. "They offered me the scholarship last night, and I wanted to tell the other colleges of my decision."
In his junior season in 2006, Glennon completed 123 of 205 passes for 1,662 yards with 18 touchdowns to only five interceptions. Westfield went 11-1 on the season, falling in the regional championship game.
Glennon chose NC State over offers from Michigan, Florida State, Miami, Virginia, and Virginia Tech among others.
Glennon is the Wolfpack's sixth commitment in the 2008 class, joining Dwayne Maddox, Brandon Barnes, Tobias Palmer, Mario Carter, and T.J. Graham.
