"Former Snider star Marques Johnson is headed to North Carolina State and coach Sidney Lowe.
Johnson, who left Tennessee last week, decided to transfer to the Wolfpack on Sunday after visiting the university this weekend.
“I liked what I saw,” Johnson said. “And they need me.”
Johnson transferred from Tennessee just a few games into his freshman season after his playing time had dwindled and the coaching staff wanted to redshirt him. Because of NCAA rules, he will miss the first seven games of next season."
