RALEIGH, N.C. -- Wolfpack players met with the media following the win over St. Augustine's.

Gavin Grant

"We had Engin to lead us. I thought he did a pretty good job, he's been out of action for couple of weeks."

"We got it going. Courtney made some shots to open up the league, Ben was pretty strong down low, and Brandon was eating everything on the glass. We were able to pull it out."

"I kind of like the ball in my hands, but that's the way it's going to be with Engin at the point. I'm not a point guard so that's the way it should be."

"We run through it everyday in practice."

Ben McCauley

"We're put into a situation where we're going to have to play big minutes. We're going to have to step up."

"We know how to play, so we're going to do our best. I think we'll be fine."

"I think we controlled the ball a little better."

"We've got good plays that can make us feel comfortable. Coach Lowe has got some great zone offensive plays, and we've got the shooters outside. I think that concerns some defenses... we can make some open shots. That kind of opens up the insides... I think it's a really good offense... what he's got for us. I think it's going to work well."

"Down the line we all want to make our teammates better."

Courtney Fells

"We were being patient... we knew they wanted to push the ball. We didn't want to get into playing their game... we wanted to play our game."

"The shots were just open from my teammates. Gavin and the rest of the team were penetrating, and they just kicked out like last game. This time I was able to knock down those shots for us."

"We run over it at the end of practice so we can be familiar with what we're doing and what teams are going to try to do. We execute very well against the zone, and I'm looking forward to other teams running it more."

"The offense was running perfectly fine the first night, I just wasn't able to knock down a shot because I was thinking about it all the time. Tonight I just said, 'it's just a jumpshot, you know what to do. Just knock down the shot.' I was able to do that for us."

"Playing with Engin, it's great. He's a composed player, and he knows when situations are getting out of hand."
