After grading the game film, NC State released the official stats from the Wolfpack's win over Appalachian State. Here are the offensive statistics from the season opener.


Marcus Stone
Stone played 57 snaps against Applachian State, improving to 6-1 as a starter. He completed 7-of-13 passes for 36 yards and a 14-yard touchdown pass. He also threw an interception and rushed six times for 21 yards.

Running Backs
Andre Brown

Brown played 27 snaps, rushing 15 times for 125 yards. He also recorded the Wolfpack's first touchdown of the season, a 43-yard run in the first quarter. Brown broke five tackles to gain 45 additional yards, and he had four yards after contact.

Toney Baker
Baker played 24 snaps, rushing 11 times for 43 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown run. He had two receptions for -2 yards and had seven yards after contact. He broke three tackles for 12 additional yards.

Jamelle Eugene
Eugene played 14 snaps, and had 10 carries for 30 yards. He broke two tackles for eight additional yards and had four yards after contact.

Pat Bedics
Bedics played 14 snaps.

Wide Receivers
Darrell Blackman

Blackman played 45 snaps, recording three catches for 26 yards and a 14-yard touchdown catch. He had one rush for three yards, and also recorded two knockdowns and four "5-point plays." He had 18 yards after catch.

Donald Bowens
Bowens recorded 39 snaps, finishing with two catches for 12 yards. He had three yards after catch. He added a "Double Detonation" and a key block.

John Dunlap
Dunlap played 53 snas, recording two knockdowns and four "5-point plays."

Koyal George
George played six snaps against App. State.

Tight Ends

Anthony Hill

Hill played 49 snaps, recording four decleaters (defender goes in the air and falls) and six dominators (completely dominates the defender).

Matt Kushner
Kushner played five snaps.

Offensive Linemen
KD = Knockdown Block
MM = (Meyer Maul) Lineman totally takes out defender and drives him back
Ht = (Hunt) Lineman finds defender and blocks him out of play

Leroy Harris
Harris played 53 snaps, recording seven knockdowns, three Meyer Mauls, and one Hunt. Tied Newby for highest grade on the team.

Curtis Crouch
Crouch played 57 snaps, recording four knockdowns, a Meyer Maul and one Hunt.

James Newby
Newby played played 60 snaps and tied for the highest grade on the O-line versus App. State. He recorded six knockdowns, one Meyer Maul, and a Hunt.

Jon Holt
Holt played 60 snaps, registering two knockdowns and a Meyer Maul.

Kalani Heppe
Heppe played 60 snaps, recording five knockdowns, two Meyer Mauls, and two Hunts.

Meares Green
Green played 10 snaps and registered one knockdown.

Merci Falaise
Falaise played one snap.
