What are the bowl options for the Pack? It's still confusing, NCSU athletics director Lee Fowler said Saturday.
Gary Beck, executive director of the MPC Computers Bowl, watched Saturday's game from Fowler's box. Seated near him was Will Webb, executive director of the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
"We really like State," Webb said before the game. "They have loyal fans and we feel like after not going to a bowl last year, the fans would really want to go this year."
The Meineke game Dec. 31 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte matches ACC and Big East teams.

North Carolina State made both as irrelevant Saturday night as Michigan State’s unbeaten season prospects.
So there was Irish guard Colin Falls shooting bricks during the Wooden Tradition. There was teammate Chris Quinn launching blanks in spacious Conseco Fieldhouse. In the end, you had a 61-48 North Carolina State victory that left Brey with a 22-2 November record and Notre Dame wondering what had happened to its offense.
