Miami Herald: Washington To Seek Transfer?
"Former Miami Killian star running back Bobby Washington, who settled for North Carolina State after the University of Miami denied him admission last year, wants to transfer to another college, said his mother, Leslie Washington Mortimer.
"He's not happy there," Washington Mortimer said Wednesday. "Bobby hasn't played in the running back position for four or five games. He has barely been handed the ball. I would do anything to get him at the University of Miami -- anything.
"But UM is out of the question. [NC State coach] Chuck Amato said he can't be released to any team in the [Atlantic Coast Conference] or any team we play against."
