How do you beat the blitz?
Concentration... concentration and anticipation. Keep your head up. Play with your eyes so you don't do something you're not suppose to.
Have you talked with the team about State's lack of success against Georgia Tech?
I haven't mentioned anything negative to this team. Obviously that would be.
Do you think it's good to get away and play out of Raleigh?
No. I'd love to play all eleven games right there.
These kids right now don't know what a standard week is like, home or away because we haven't had a standard week. We're gonna get on a bus and instead of driving to a Mariott in Raleigh we're gonna go to the one down there.
It might be a blessing in disguise for them, but again I'd like to play all eleven right here.
Is it most important to stop P.J. Daniels?
That's one of the many things. You've always got to start with stopping the run. You've got to... you've got to put the other team in a situation where they become one-dimensional. It makes things a lot easier to call defenses just like it makes it a lot easier to call a second-and-three than a second-and-fourteen.
