I admit it, I drank the Chuck Amato Kool-Aid. Gulped it down, I did. Wiped my lips and salivated for more. Now my stomach aches.

I admit it, I drank the Chuck Amato Kool-Aid. Gulped it down, I did. Wiped my lips and salivated for more. Now my stomach aches. When I predicted N.C. State would win the ACC’s Atlantic Division in a column last month, I did so thinking there was no way on earth Amato and his staff wouldn’t have cleaned up the foolishness that soured last season. I honestly thought Amato had recognized the problem, and that HE had changed. This will be another week without a victory for North Carolina State's football team. The agony could set in. "I'm embarrassed for our fans," N.C. State coach Chuck Amato said. "This team is too good to stay down too long." The Wolfpack will look to recover from its 31-24 loss Saturday to rival North Carolina as it moves toward an Oct. 6 game at Georgia Tech.
