Chuck Amato's life in football is a story of long and loyal relations.
He played at N.C. State, then served as a Wolfpack assistant coach for nine years. After a brief stay at Arizona, he joined Bobby Bowden's staff at Florida State for 18 years. When he got his first head coaching job in 2000, it was back at the school where Earle Edwards taught him the game -- N.C. State.
