St. Petersburg (Fl.) Catholic shooting guard Aaron Holmes committed to NC State today.
"Yes, I committed to NC State yesterday," Holmes said. "I went up to visit on November 6th, and it was just a great visit.
"I just thought it was the best decision for me, so I'm going to NC State."
Holmes, last year's conference and regional player of the year, already had scholarship offers from NC State, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, Georgia, and Xavier. Wake Forest and Maryland were also showing interest.
