Hall, a redshirt junior from Deerfield Beach, Florida, was NC State's Most Valuable Offensive Back for 2003 after pulling down 69 receptions, third in school history, and amassing 1,303 all-purpose yards. His seven touchdown receptions ranked second behind former All-American Koren Robinson for a Wolfpack sophomore.
Hall, one of five ACC players on the list, returned two punts for touchdowns during the 2003 season, a 67-yarder in the season opener against Western Carolina, and an 83-yarder against Maryland, the seventh-longest in school history.
The watch list will be narrowed to 10 semi-finalists in early November. The 2004 Walter Camp Player of the Year recipient, which is voted on by the 117 Division I-A head coaches and sports information directors, will be announced on the ESPN/Home Depot College Football Awards Show in December. The winner will then receive his trophy at the Foundation's annual national awards banquet on February 13, 2005 at the Yale
University Commons in New Haven.
