PalmettoSports.com: OL Brandon Jefferies Update

Jefferies informed PalmettoSports.com writer Phil Kornblutt that his two current favorites are NC State and South Carolina. He has visited both programs recently to watch spring practice and hopes to have a decision within the next three weeks.

Reports in January surfaced that Brandon had chosen to enroll at the University of North Carolina this summer, but he told Kornblutt last night that UNC no longer had a scholarship available for him after oversigning in their 2004 recruiting class.

Arguably the nation's top offensive guard prospect in the Class of 2002, Jefferies signed with Tennessee after considering offers from Georgia, North Carolina, NC State, and South Carolina among others.

StateFans will have more in the near future on the status of Brandon Jefferies and his transfer decision.
