Commitment Takes a "Routine" Trip to Raleigh

NC State's first commitment from the Class of 2004 came last year on signing day. Lemarte McGhee announced his decision last year as the 2003 signees were inking for NC State. After nearly a year, Lemarte has stayed with his choice despite interest from other schools. This weekend, he made an official visit to Raleigh.

Lemarte McGhee slipped down to Raleigh nearly a year after his commitment to the Pack to take his official visit. However, it was not his first. "I went to State this weekend. I've been 15 or 16 times," said McGhee. "I hung out with the players and stuff like that. We had a team schedule we used."
