Here is an update on his recruitment...

I've heard NC State has expressed some interest in you. Where are you in the recruiting process with them?
Yeah, I've been in contact with them, they send me a few texts every once in a while and see how I'm doing. I'm trying to get on campus.

How serious a level of interest do you sense from them?
I guess when I get on campus things could change.

I talk with them often, and it's not just basketball stuff either, they check on me and my family, stuff like that.

The visit will depend on when I can make it happen in my schedule and when my parents can come.

How consistent is the communication with them?
I'd say probably once a week I hear from them. Usually it's assistant coaches talking with me.

What other schools are you in contact with regularly?
I'm trying to get down to Maryland, Georgetown, NC State, Wake Forest, that's about it.

Are you nearing the end of your recruiting process or do you think you have a ways to go?
I actually think it's slowing down a lot, I'm hoping to make a decision at the end of AAU season and before high school season.

Do you think the writing is on the wall for you in your mind with any of the programs recruiting you?
Not yet, after I get on campus with most of these schools, conversations will pick up and we'll talk more. I don't think any schools are going to fade away at this point.
