Knox Set To Visit
Ever since offensive tackle Ben Knox reopened his recruitment the former Florida commit has been leaning towards one program. Louisville has been the school to beat for Knox for a while now. The Cardinals don't appear to be relinquishing their stranglehold on the top spot on his list as they are holding as strong as ever, but they do have competition. Knox plans to take an official visit to NC State this weekend and that will be the Wolfpack's best chance to nudge him in another direction. "It's going to be my first time there. It's a good program in the ACC and right now I like their fan base. That's a big part of why I want to visit NC State. I just want to go up there and check everything out. I want to see if I can fit in." The Deland (FL) lineman has been in contact with multiple staff members from the NCSU football offices and he's anxious to meet everyone in person. That won't be the only visit Knox takes. He plans to take an official visit to Auburn on December 2 and he could take an official visit to Ole Miss or Louisville on January 23 but that is not finalized yet. "I think Louisville is still my favorite. They've been my favorite ever since I decommitted." Knox is considered a top offensive line prospect because of his lean frame, athleticism and the widespread belief that he has only just started to tap into his potential. At just 265 pounds he will need to continue to add weight which should not be a problem.
