NC State has confirmed that sophomore guard Staats Battle is no longer on the basketball team.

NC State has confirmed that sophomore guard Staats Battle is no longer on the basketball team.

Battle was charged with a DWI on New Year's Day.

The 6-foot-6, 191-pound guard from Raleigh, North Carolina, played in seven games this year, averaging 0.7 points and 0.4 rebounds.
