"I think it's a good win for us, and probably a couple of keys I thought were important. Defensively in the second half we were pretty good, maybe as good a stretch as we've had."

"We still can get better, but I thought that was a difference."

"Really down the stretch we executed our offense really well... scoring 83 points against them is an accomplishment. They are a good defensive team. We had 83 and maybe could have had 90 if we made a couple around the rim too."

"The execution late and the second half defensively was solid."

"We've got four returning starters and they understand how important it is to execute."

"We had a couple of key stretches there, whether it was Scott coming off a baseline screen or Lorenzo attacking, Calvin one time on an isolation... the ball was in the right place for us to make high percentage shots."

"Scott moves better without the ball now... he had the one where they got wrapped up and called an offensive foul in front of their bench... he needs to keep running, keep moving, and he's getting better at that."

"When he keeps moving he's really hard to guard."

"We've had two really good practices the last couple of days and we never mentioned Saturday's game."

"I think they are seasoned enough to know that you have to play every night and you can't look past anybody in this conference."

"We talk all the time, each game counts as one game and there are 18 opportunities... Saturday is one game, it's just one, and the next one after that is just one."

"You've got to take them one game at a time and I think our guys did a good job of that."

"I think we're understanding as a team how to defend a little better."

"I think what we've got to do is make sure we're getting better, and we're becoming the best defensive team we can be. Is that important Saturday? Absolutely."

"We've just got to keep getting better, that's the bottom line."

"He makes them at key times... we've tried to coach him that way, the more he moves the harder he is to defend... if he gets a glimpse of daylight he's a threat to score." Recommended Stories
