November 14th is the first day college basketball recruits can sign their national letters of intent, and NC State is looking to officially ink one of the nation's top classes.

NC State Class of 2013 verbal commitments Anthony Barber and Kyle Washington can make their pledges official today on the first day of the fall signing period, and both are expected to fax in their paperwork to the Wolfpack.

Barber, a senior at Hampton (VA) High School, is rated the No. 11 player overall in the 2013 class, and the five-star recruit is regarded as the No. 3 point guard in the country. Barber committed to NC State in September after also considering Kansas, Louisville, Florida State, and Alabama.

Washington is suiting up as a senior for Brewster Academy (NH), and he will be signing this morning at Brewster. The nation's No. 12 center prospect, Washington is also a four-star recruit and the No. 85 player in his class. He picked the Wolfpack after narrowing his list down to NC State, Florida, Ohio State, Louisville, Washington, and Notre Dame among others.

Obviously, both recruits are included in Scout.com's Top 100 rankings, and they give NC State a consensus Top-15 recruiting class nationally. Both are projected to qualify and are expected to contribute as freshmen.

Also, a huge target remains on the board in Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha Catholic center BeeJay Anya. The 6-foot-9, four-star standout will announce his decision on Friday and will sign in the fall, and he has narrowed his list to NC State and Indiana. Anya is rated the No. 5 center in the class and the No. 45 player overall.

Julius Randle, one of the top recruits in the class, is still considering NC State, Florida, Texas, Kentucky, and Kansas among others, but he will not sign until the spring signing period.

Make sure you check out our Premium Basketball Board because once we hear of a letter of intent being received we will update it on the forum.

Finally, once all of the commitments become official and the paperwork has been received by NC State, the Wolfpack coaching staff is expected to send out a release to formally announce the latest additions.
