VIDEO: Leslie, Brown, and Warren Discuss Win

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Lorenzo Brown, C.J. Leslie, and T.J. Warren met with the media after State's 105-80 exhibition win over Belmont Abbey.

"We're tired of beating on each other. We're just ready to do it to other teams."

"We knew we had to pick that up somehow and we led by example."

"They contribute a lot to our team as far as the fastbreak... they are very good in the open court and getting down the court."

"That's one of the things where you have to be in front of me to get the ball."

"Coach tells me don't wait for the guard, just go ahead."

"We are a running team so we're going to score a lot of points. We've got a lot of great finishers and athletic players."

"It felt good. I've been waiting a whole year to do this. For it to be my first win, it's a great accomplishment."

"My teammate encouraged me to make plays, and that's what I did."

"I started to play my game."

"I can't wait."

"I'm itching to play."

"He likes the competition and he likes to be physical."

"T.J. and Rodney are pretty much scorers. Rodney is pretty fast on the offensive end and defensive nd. With him running like that it helps me out a lot."

"I love when Tyler is in the game. He's a creative guy and he makes some unbelievable passes."

"People always underrate smaller guys, especially with Tyler because he doesn't look like a basketball player." Recommended Stories
