Tom O'Brien said today at his press conference that senior cornerback C.J. Wilson isn't on the depth chart because he is currently dealing with off-the-field issues.

"[C.J. Wilson] has an eligibility issue that we're waiting for the NCAA to clear up," said O'Brien. "Whenever we get word on that we'll let you know where we are. He just has an issue, when it's cleared up we'll let you know."

Wilson, a 5-foot-11, 187-pounder from Lincolnton, North Carolina, is a graduate student after graduating with his degree in three-and-a-half years.

In his first three seasons he has started 29-of-38 games, totaling 95 tackles, nine pass breakups, and three interceptions while playing 1,854 snaps. Wilson has also returned all three touchdowns for scores.

He was listed as a starter entering fall camp, but during camp he was passed on the depth chart by redshirt junior Dontae Johnson.
