"Joe Wright had surgery today on his left knee, meniscus. [Michael Peek] has an ACL so he'll be out the rest of the year."

"[Tyler] Brosius will no longer be part of the program."

"[Robert] Caldwell isn't cleared to practice. We had to go back and get something but due to the weekend - the College of the Canyons was closed - but we think we have the right stuff coming today."

"I think we are a little bit tired right now - I don't know if its exams or whatever. We need to be a little more enthusiastic. That's probably leadership, we gotta get some leadership going out there on both sides of the football."

"The freshmen heads are swimming. They got to meetings for the first time this weekend so they are floundering around trying to figure out which way to go but this will help them."

"Manny Stocker will play. Manny's got a lot of poise, he was impressive today. The good thing is he came in spring practice so he's ahead of where you'd expect him to be but he's behind because he missed all of the meetings last week because he was going to school with the summer start program."

"We're happy with what we saw out of him today."

"We had six tailbacks carry the football. We tried to get everybody in - for the first time we were able to scrimmage three teams. Everybody got about 20-30, nobody got more than 30 plays I think."

"We have to keep Micheal [Glennon] healthy."

"It's the same situation with any position or anybody - you have a starter and you want to keep him healthy and keep him going."
