Citizen-Times: Brosius Transferring

"Mike Brosius confirmed this morning that his son has left the N.C. State football program after two years as a backup quarterback. Tyler Brosius plans to resume his baseball career at Walters State (Tenn.) with an eye on making himself eligible for next year’s major league draft.

Brosius was a three-time Citizen-Times Western North Carolina Player of the Year in football (2008 and 2009) and baseball (2010) during his prep career in Waynesville.

“He feels like he can take this year to decide whether he wants to play (pro) baseball or maybe he’ll realize he wants to play football again (in college,” Mike Brosius said."
