NC State signees Tyler Lewis, Rodney Purvis, and T.J. Warren are all under consideration for selection to play in the 2012 McDonald's All-American Game. The teams will be announced today at 5:00 pm on ESPNU.
The trio signed with NC State in the fall, and the Wolfpack currently has the No. 5 recruiting class in the country according to Scout.com.
McDonald's will officially release their 24 selections today. NC State has never had three signees play in one game. The previous high for the Wolfpack was two in 1979 (Sidney Lowe and Derek Whittenburg) and 1987 (Chris Corchiani and Rodney Monroe).
The last McDonald's All-American to sign with NC State was C.J. Leslie in 2010.
NC State 2012 target Amile Jefferson is also under consideration to play in the event.
This year's game will be held at the United Center in Chicago (Ill.) on March 28th.
