NC State landed a big commitment Friday evening when Myrtle Beach (SC) defensive end Tyler Knox verbally committed to the Wolfpack.
Knox formally announced his decision following Myrtle Beach's game on Friday night.
“They brought me in, showed me a lot love, showed me what being a part of the Wolfpack is all about,” Knox told The Sun News. “I like everything about it, the environment, the program, how they come out hype for every game, how they work hard each and every day.”
The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder landed offers back in the spring from Illinois, Kentucky, Memphis, Miami, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, and Purdue among others.
He recently took a visit to NC State and also attended the Wolfpack's camp over the summer.
As a junior, Knox finished with 50 tackles, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles.
Pack Pride will have more from Knox on his decision in the near future so stay tuned!
