NC State head coach Tom O'Brien announced senior fullback Taylor Gentry will miss Saturday's game against Central Michigan.
Gentry sustained a foot injury in last weekend's loss to Georgia Tech. The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder had totaled seven receptions for 42 yards and two touchdowns this season.
No timeframe was given for how long Gentry would be sidelined.
It is a big loss for NC State. Not only is Gentry the Wolfpack's starting tailback, but he is also the Pack's top special teams player.
