RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State defensive tackle J.R. Sweezy will miss the next six weeks of action after undergoing surgery on a foot fracture today.

The senior captain was an honorable mention All-ACC choice last season, tallying 13 tackles for loss and six sacks.
