Marietta (GA) Lassiter cornerback Niles Clark committed to NC State back in January after taking unofficial visits to Raleigh in the fall. Here are exclusive highlights of the Wolfpack commitment in action!

Player: Niles Clark
Hometown: Marietta, Georgia
High School: Lassiter High School
Position: Cornerback
Vitals: 5'11/180/4.55

Notes: NC State's second commitment in the 2012 recruiting class, Niles Clark has had a productive career at Marietta (GA) Lassiter High School.

Clark had 65 tackles and four interceptions as a junior and was named to the Cobb County Touchdown Club's all-defensive team in addition to all-county honors. He is also a solid basketball player and runs track as well.

"I had been talking to my family about committing during my junior year so I wouldn't have to worry about it later on," Clark told Pack Pride. "That's one of the reasons I decided to commit to NC State so early. It just felt like home there when I took my unofficial visit. I came up for two games last year."

"The minute I walked in the door, they just made me feel welcome, like I was a part of the team already. It's also a great game day atmosphere.

"Coach Tenuta is recruiting me. I think he's a great guy. His son goes to one of the rival schools here and he knows a lot about the area so we connected there."

Clark is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com.
