NC State has a chance to land one of the top targets on its recruiting board as small forward Tyler Harris will announce his college decision today at a press conference.

Harris informed Pack Pride Thursday evening that he has narrowed his list to Iowa, NC State, and Providence. He has officially visited all three programs and holds offers from the trio and several other high-major schools.

He stated that he made his decision after his last official visit and a combination of factors played a role in his decision.

"I made my decision following my last visit," said Harris. "I came home and talked with my parents about it and now I'm ready to announce it.

"It was everything about the school. It had everything I was looking for from style of play, a nice campus, a good coaching staff, and great players. I believe I fit in well there with the players and coaches, and I have a great relationship with the coaches."

Harris is tentatively scheduled to announce his decision at 12:30. Pack Pride will have more from Harris following his decision.

He is currently rated the No. 24 power forward in the country by Scout.com and will sign in the early signing period.
